Drew Pavlou and Pete Zogoulas have dropped a 2nd NDIS investigation, and the allegations aren’t great to sit with.

They claim a West Sydney operator billed taxpayers $340,000 for round the clock disability support supposedly delivered to prisoners. People sitting in jail cells. The supports never existed. They allege that when his first company got exposed he just opened another one and kept going.
The other case is a Gold Coast provider allegedly charging the NDIS for “witch doctor” spirit work, who they say is also under investigation over the death of a participant in 2023.
These are their claims not yet proven in court. But the backdrop is real and the government has confirmed it. The AFP’s Fraud Fusion taskforce has already charged operators over millions in billing, jailed a 6 person syndicate that claimed more than $10 million, and seized cash by the bagful. A $52 billion scheme built to help the most vulnerable people in the country has become one of the easiest things in Australia to steal from.
The people paying for it twice are the disabled Australians it was actually meant for.
