Wang Chun discusses interstellar flight target Mars: Exploration should no longer be delayed for the next generation, giving SpaceX a reason to no longer forget Mars
ME News reports on May 23 that F2Pool co-founder Wang Chun will serve as the commander of SpaceX's first interstellar crewed mission, which will last about two years, initially exploring beyond Earth-Moon space, then passing by Mars and returning to Earth. Before the mission, he will participate in the Starship commercial crewed lunar flyby, within 200 kilometers of the lunar surface. This is Starship's first commercial crewed interstellar mission; Wang Chun previously commanded the Fram2 polar orbit mission in 2025.
