Wu News has learned that Aave, MetaMask, and Mastercard have announced a partnership to connect DeFi interest-bearing assets with real-world payment scenarios. Currently, MetaMask Card has integrated Aave's interest-bearing assets (such as mUSD and USDC). When users make fiat purchases with MetaMask Card, the required amount will be settled instantly and exchanged on the Ethereum L2 network Linea, and the idle balance in the user's wallet can continue earning interest through Aave before swiping the card.
