I read an interesting piece about Elon Musk's crypto and I have to say that the guy is really unique when it comes to cryptocurrencies. Like, the dude has literally moved markets with his tweets, earning himself the nickname "Dogefather" — no joke.
So, the Elon Musk cryptocurrencies we know for sure: Bitcoin is the first, Tesla invested $1.5 billion in 2021, although he sold most of it afterward, but Musk has confirmed he still holds some personally. With BTC at $76.41K and a market dominance of 56.98%, it's easy to see why he considers it digital gold. Then there's Ethereum, which Musk admitted to owning during the "The ₿ Word" conference in 2021 — ETH is now at $2.10K and accounts for 9.43% of the total market. And of course Dogecoin, his favorite. He has never hidden that he loves DOGE, and he even promoted it as a payment method for Tesla and SpaceX. Today, DOGE is at $0.10, with a market cap of $16.07 billion.
But here’s where it gets interesting: there are lots of speculations about other Elon Musk cryptocurrencies he might own. For example, he has always denied having Shiba Inu (SHIB), but his tweets about dog-themed coins have always caused market movement. Then there's Floki Inu, named after his Shiba Inu dog, but there’s no concrete proof that he owns it.
It’s crazy how one person can influence this space so much. What do you think — is it really him driving certain movements, or is it just coincidence?
