Lately, social mining/points have become popular again, and the group is asking every day, "I've been testing on the testnet for so long, will the mainnet actually issue tokens?" To be honest, I don't know either. Anyway, I've set a boundary for myself: badges look nice, but don't spend all your time just for them. Points, to put it simply, are a kind of expectation ticket; the redemption rules are not in your control, and in the end, there might only be a bunch of screenshots and exhaustion left.
My current approach is very simple: first, see where the points come from (actual usage or just tasks), then check if exiting is smooth (can I stop anytime, and will stopping cause too much loss), and finally decide whether to continue. If I miss out, so be it. I don't need to be understood; I just want to stick to my own rhythm and not be led by the idea of "just one more day and it'll be a bit more."
