So Glauber Contessoto just went from being the famous Dogecoin Millionaire to becoming a Pepe Millionaire—and honestly, his portfolio journey is wild. Remember him from 2021 when his DOGE holdings hit $1 million? Well, he's still holding that Dogecoin (around $920k now with DOGE at $0.11), but he completely rage-quit Ethereum earlier this year and dumped hundreds of thousands into PEPE instead. The move paid off massively.
He's now sitting on approximately $1.116 million in PEPE across verified wallets. What caught my attention is how he explains the choice—he sees Pepe as one of the few memes that rivals Doge in terms of cultural reach and recognition. Whether it's forums, Reddit, Twitter, or Facebook, the Pepe face is everywhere. He likes that it represents something edgier compared to Doge's wholesome 'Do Only Good Everyday' vibe. According to him, Pepe taps into deeper internet culture.
Back in spring 2024, Contessoto dropped $100k each into three meme coins: Pepe, Brett, and Dogwifhat. PEPE and Brett have been winners, while Dogwifhat tanked 82% from its peak. Then February hit and he basically said screw it to ETH—swapped everything into Pepe. With PEPE up since then, he's now claiming his second meme coin millionaire status.
But here's the interesting part: people keep asking where the capital comes from if he never sells DOGE. Turns out, back in 2021 he was making $10k monthly from YouTube plus voiceover work at HipHopDX. He leveraged that momentum into merch sales, documentary deals, speaking gigs, and eventually became an influencer doing sponsored posts and marketing campaigns. The guy basically built multiple income streams.
He's also eyeing Brett and Floki as future millionaire positions—another $100k invested in each. When asked about his legendary DOGE hodl, he promised he'd finally sell at least half by end of 2025, claiming he won't 'round-trip' again. But given his track record of holding through Bitcoin's all-time highs in May, who knows if he actually will. The Pepe Millionaire narrative just keeps evolving.
