📌According to WSJ, the Trump administration is preparing to inject about $2B into 9 companies in the quantum computing sector. In return, the US government will receive minority stakes in the supported companies.
📌Major investments include:
- IBM: $1B
- GlobalFoundries: $375M
- D-Wave Quantum: $100M
- Rigetti Computing: $100M
- Infleqtion: $100M
- Diraq: $38M
- Additionally, there are other companies on the list such as Atom Computing, PsiQuantum, and Quantinuum.
