ME News Report, May 22 (UTC+8), the National Development and Reform Commission held a press conference on May 22. Deputy Director of the Policy Research Office of the National Development and Reform Commission, Li Chao, stated that opening up is China's basic national policy. China supports technology companies integrating into the global innovation network and engaging in mutually beneficial international cooperation. It has never required Chinese tech companies to refrain from accepting foreign investment. He also emphasized that foreign investment must comply with Chinese laws and regulations and must not harm China's national security and interests. China will continue to implement the Foreign Investment Law and its implementing regulations, further optimize a market-oriented, law-based, and internationalized business environment, and strengthen risk prevention and control. Implementing the Foreign Investment Law, saying it well is not enough; it must also be done well.
