Wu said that Ethereum L2 network Zero Network announced it will gradually shut down and focus resources on Zerion API and wallets. Users need to transfer NFTs, ETH, or other tokens from Zero Network to the Ethereum mainnet or other chains before July 31, 2026; cross-chain deposits have been immediately disabled, cross-chain withdrawals are open until July 31, after which the network will be completely shut down and stop producing blocks. The developers behind Zero Network are Zerion, a DeFi and NFT portfolio management platform, which has previously received over $22 million in funding from Wintermute, Coinbase Ventures, and others.
