Deep Tide TechFlow message: On May 22, according to The Block, the Ethereum Layer 2 project Zero Network announced that it will officially shut down soon, just about 1.5 years after it went live. Zero Network was launched by the Zerion team in November 2024. It was positioned as the first EVM-compatible fully free Gas-fee rollup, aiming to lower the barrier for users and drive mainstream adoption. The team said it will concentrate its resources on Zerion’s API and wallet business. Users need to bridge their NFTs, ETH, and other tokens out of Zero Network by the end of July. At present, the bridging deposit feature has been suspended.
