just saw billym2k go off on X about people falsely claiming he created their crypto projects lol. dude was pretty clear - he made dogecoin and one other coin called bells way back, and that's literally it. hasn't touched crypto since 2014 and has zero plans to ever again.

what got him going was all these ethereum tokens claiming they launched in 2013, which is obviously fake since ethereum didn't even exist until 2015. he made bells as a scrypt coin in 2013 that failed instantly, then later pitched the idea of dogecoin with jackson palmer. but the bells token that exists now? completely different - resurrected by other people using his old code.

billym2k even joked that people are claiming he created bitcoin next lol. anyway, seems like he's just tired of scammers using his name to pump their projects. pretty reasonable take if you ask me
