Lately, everyone has been watching the main public chain upgrade/maintenance and guessing whether the ecosystem will move afterward.

But I thought of something more practical: if at the end of the year you need to review old transactions for taxes, everyone will have to move (like moving data).
My current simple method is: every time I make a large swap or cross-chain transfer, I conveniently record a note—time, chain, what I did, why I did it, with a screenshot + export CSV into the same folder.
I also leave some on-chain details, like "05/12 21:18 transferred 2.3 ETH from Arbitrum to 0x7b3…9c1, then swapped to USDC on a certain DEX," otherwise in a couple of months, you won’t remember whether it was a rebalancing or a slip.
Honestly, the record isn’t for tax authorities; it’s for that crazy future self… Anyway, I’m doing this to save my own skin for now.
ETH-3.18%
ARB-4.04%
