Abstract generation in progress

ME News Report, May 21 (UTC+8), the next-generation RWA collateralized lending protocol OpenFi announced a strategic partnership with tokenized stock protocol dStock. The two parties will jointly explore bringing tokenized US stocks into on-chain lending markets, promoting the deep integration of traditional finance (TradFi) and decentralized finance (DeFi).

Through this collaboration, users will be able to borrow stablecoins using tokenized US stocks as collateral on OpenFi in the future, without selling the underlying assets to unlock liquidity. The first batch of supported assets includes GOOGL, AAPL, AMZN, META, MSFT, HOOD, CRCL, MU, and AVGO, covering core sectors such as technology, finance, and semiconductors.

The OpenFi team stated that bringing mainstream Wall Street assets onto the chain allows global users to access on-chain credit using stock assets, which is an important expansion of the RealFi narrative.

On-chain Wall Street assets sound sexy, but where are the regulatory red lines?

AVGO and MU, these volatile semiconductor stocks, need strong collateral and risk control models.

HOOD and CRCL have also been selected; Robinhood going on-chain itself is quite interesting.
