CoinWorld News: Federal Reserve officials noted that the labor market was more stable in April. Market analysts say that one factor supporting a more hawkish outlook for the Federal Reserve is the signal of improvement from the labor market. At the Fed's March meeting, the latest data available to officials was the poor February employment report. According to the minutes from the March meeting, many officials were concerned that "labor market conditions appeared vulnerable to adverse shocks." However, based on the newly released April meeting minutes, by the time of the April meeting, Fed officials had access to a more optimistic March report, and most viewed these data as evidence of stabilization. After the Fed's April meeting, the strong April employment report released earlier this month further demonstrated that the labor market may be stabilizing.
