Wu Says He Learned that Fantasy Top, a social card game invested by Alliance DAO, announced that it will close at the end of June after operating for two years. Fantasy Top said that the project has cumulatively distributed more than $20 million to players and $3.2 million to Heroes, but trading volume in the TCG mode is insufficient to support long-term operations. The main Fantasy competition will continue until June 18; the remaining rewards and Hero payments will be completed by then. Game modes such as Prediction Market and Jackpot will stop on May 21. Seven days after the final competition ends, the website will be taken offline, and the cards will be freely transferable with royalties canceled.

Can the card market surge after removing royalties, or does it just drop to zero?

Trading volume can't sustain the team; that's a pretty solid reason.
