Senate Confirms Kevin Warsh as Fed Chair as Rate-Cut Odds Slide

The US Senate confirmed Kevin Warsh as Federal Reserve chair, while Kalshi odds of a rate cut before 2027 fell to 38.2% from 96% in February. Warsh is set to be sworn in on Friday, and the next Federal Open Market Committee meeting is scheduled for June 16. CME FedWatch showed a 98.8% probability that rates stay at 3.50% to 3.75% through the end of June and more than 94% odds of no change through July.
