When a person faces questioning, if they do not patiently explain but instead become furious and dodge the main issue, the answer is often already very clear. Someone who truly has a clear conscience will think about communication; while a guilty person often covers shame with anger, shifts the problem with accusations, turning "what did he do wrong" into "why do you doubt me." The one who damages trust is never the questioner, but the person who first betrays trust. The more frantic and agitated they are, the more it shows they are afraid of being exposed.
