Don't wear low-quality clothes because they will gradually drain your energy; don't wear uncomfortable shoes because they will make even walking exhausting; don't eat cheap, perfunctory food because your body will remember how you treat yourself; don't have bad days because people will slowly lose their passion for life through long-term compromises. Similarly, don't let low-quality people and relationships enter your life. True self-love is never indulgence, but filtering. Keep the things that make you comfortable, alert, stable, and upward; keep out consumption, chaos, contempt, and destruction from your life. In essence, a person's life is a continuous process of choosing and filtering. What you allow to stay close to you in the long run will ultimately shape who you become.
