I started looking for apps to trade with little money some time ago, and honestly, there are interesting options now. It’s no longer about having a lot of capital to get into the game; that’s in the past. Nowadays, almost anyone can start with $20 or $50.
I checked out several platforms, and the one I liked the most to start was MiTrade. Its interface is super clean, without unnecessary clutter. You can trade stocks, cryptocurrencies, gold, oil—all from a single account. The best part is that you start with just $20 USD and have $50,000 in virtual money to practice for 90 days risk-free. There are no commissions, only tight spreads.
If you already have experience, AvaTrade offers more options. It supports MetaTrader 4 and 5, has over 1,200 assets, and distinguishes between retail and professional accounts. The minimum deposit is $100 USD, but leverage is much higher.
Plus500 is for those who want extreme variety: over 2,800 CFDs. They recently entered futures trading in the United States, so it’s good if you’re looking for new markets. It also requires a minimum of $100 USD.
XM is interesting if you like MetaTrader and want high leverage, up to 1000x. You can start with as little as $5 USD with micro accounts. It has an inactivity fee, but the spreads are competitive.
eToro is the social option, especially if you’re a beginner. Its copy trading feature is unique: it automatically replicates experienced traders. The minimum deposit is $50 USD, and you get access to real assets, not just CFDs.
Honestly, choosing between these trading apps depends on your profile. Beginner? MiTrade or eToro. Experienced? AvaTrade or XM. Looking for a variety of markets? Plus500. The important thing is to try the demo account first and understand that all of this involves risks. It’s not magic; it’s discipline.
