Many people are not inherently boring, but over time, in the pursuit of security, they gradually filter out all uncertain information. To avoid making mistakes, being rejected, and emotional fluctuations, we only accept familiar, stable, and predictable things. Over time, although life becomes safe, it also loses surprises, passion, and genuine feelings. Because vitality is not inherently stable, but rather the ability of a person to continuously connect with the unknown world. Those truly vibrant experiences often carry a bit of unfamiliarity, a bit of risk, and a bit of uncontrollability. So, when someone wants to regain their energy, it’s not about deliberately making themselves “interesting,” but about re-opening to the world, allowing new experiences into life, and permitting oneself to occasionally feel awkward, confused, and uncertain. When a person no longer regards “absolute safety” as the highest goal in life, vitality will flow again.
