has released its April 2026 Transparency Report, highlighting continued expansion across multi-asset trading, tokenized equities, and AI-driven infrastructure.

Personally, I think this report signals a clear direction: crypto exchanges are no longer just trading venues — they are evolving into full-scale financial ecosystems.

One of the most notable developments is the expansion of over 430 TradFi CFD assets and 70+ tokenized stocks. This shows a stronger push toward bridging traditional finance with on-chain infrastructure, especially through RWA-style products.

Another important upgrade is the unified account system, connecting spot, derivatives, and real-world assets under a single framework. This kind of integration reduces friction for users and reflects a broader trend toward “all-in-one” trading environments.

The report also highlights the Gate AI V3 architecture upgrade, which introduces intelligent push notifications and deeper research tools designed to support decision-making rather than just data display. In my opinion, this is where the industry is heading — from information access to decision automation.

On the tokenomics side, GT has reportedly burned over $1.38B, while ETF monthly active users continue to grow, suggesting both supply-side tightening and user expansion at the same time.

Personally, I think the long-term story here is convergence.
