Berkshire Hathaway is sitting on a record cash pile of $397.4 billion


This amount is enough to buy out 478 out of 500 companies in the S&P 500 if considering each company individually.
By this point, it’s clear that Berkshire isn’t exactly ahead of the curve, and they also made a mistake by missing the AI-semiconductor wave.
Missed the wave, so they have to stay on the sidelines.
