ME News Report, April 17 (UTC+8), recently, Wonder Project and Luma announced the establishment of a new production service company called Innovative Dreams. The company integrates R&D laboratories, post-production, and visual effects, and is supported by Amazon Web Services (AWS). Its core is the pioneering of a new method called “Real-Time Hybrid Filmmaking,” which combines performance capture, virtual production, and visual effects, and accelerates every stage from early concept design and pre-visualization to production and post-production using generative AI technology. The article suggests that this method aims to eliminate traditional motion capture suits, facial markers, green screens, and the 10-12 week asset build cycle, shortening the distance from concept to final image. The first project to adopt this process is “Old Stories: Moses,” which will premiere exclusively this spring on Prime Video’s Wonder subscription service. (Source: InFoQ)
