Without blind transactions

The Ethereum Foundation, together with wallet developers and cybersecurity firms, introduced the Clear Signing project — a protective mechanism against attacks through blind transaction signing.
As part of Clear Signing, several updates were presented:

ERC-7730: an open standard for transaction description format, proposed by Ledger in 2024;
Public registry: the platform clearsigning.org, where developers can publish smart contract descriptions;
Verification system: independent experts will review and confirm the accuracy of data in the registry.
When confirming transactions, wallets display technical data as a hash code. Fraudsters exploit interface inconvenience to hide malicious contracts.

ERC-7730 introduces the "what you see is what you sign" format. It allows applications to provide clear and structured descriptions of actions on the blockchain.

To implement the project, a special descriptor registry was created. The Ethereum Foundation will serve as a neutral operator of this infrastructure, and independent experts will verify the accuracy of descriptions through an accreditation system.
