Many people just live longer, but not wiser. Age can only make a person grow older, not necessarily smarter. True maturity has never been about seniority, status, or age, but about whether a person has the ability to take responsibility, has a sense of boundaries, dares to face reality, and can admit when they are wrong. Many so-called "adults" are essentially just bigger children: passing the buck when things go wrong, throwing tantrums when frustrated, envying those stronger than themselves, and oppressing those weaker. They are desperately defending not what is right, but their own life logic that has long since rotted but they dare not overthrow.
