Some say, as long as the child is happy, it doesn't matter whether they learn or not. But true stable happiness does not come from avoiding pressure and giving up on growth, but from ability, competence, recognition, and a sense of belonging. Learning and happiness are not mutually exclusive; a person who is seriously engaged and constantly growing often finds it easier to build self-confidence and inner stability. The outcome may not be that important, but the process of growth itself is a part of mental health. Because genuine, lasting happiness often comes from: I have the ability to face life, rather than just escaping from it.
