I just noticed that more and more people in Thailand are talking about Kub Coin. Actually, it’s very interesting because it’s a genuine Thai coin built on the Bitkub Chain network, launched since 2021.

For those who still don’t know what kub stands for, it simply refers to the coin of the Bitkub Chain network. Just like how Ethereum has Ether, Kub Coin is a native coin created by Bitkub Blockchain Technology. It was first launched on May 20, 2021, and since then, the whitepaper plan has been updated 3 times to make it better.

What makes it interesting is its main purpose: to make blockchain technology easy for the general public and businesses to access, with low fees and fast transaction speeds. Unlike the Proof-of-Work system that uses massive amounts of energy, Bitkub Chain uses Proof-of-Authority, and at some point it switched to Proof-of-Stake-Authority to increase decentralization.

Right now, Kub Coin has many uses. It can be used to pay Gas Fee for transactions, exchange goods with various partners, or be used in the Bitkub NEXT app to lock coins and receive rewards. It can also be used to create and collect NFTs on the Bitkub Chain network.

What I like is that Bitkub Chain isn’t only creating coins for fun—it’s also partnering with real businesses. You can see this with well-known brands like KOI Thé, เถ้าแก่น้อย, and Wacoal using NFT Solution for promotions. Dice Kingdom, a Monopoly-style game, and Morning Moon Village also use this blockchain. Even the YAKS travel app for travel has joined in as well.

When it comes to the latest price, Kub Coin is around $0.83, down slightly by -0.46% over the past 24 hours. It looks like the market is adjusting, but if you look at the plans for 2024, Bitkub Chain plans to become the infrastructure for the entire Southeast Asia region, with projects like Bitkub Metaverse, Thai League NFT Collection, and various activities closely connected to everyday life.

One thing to note is that Bitkub Chain is seriously going after the global market. It’s partnering with various agencies to bring Thai blockchain to the international stage. Now, Kub Coin can already be traded on global exchange boards, which is something that makes Thais proud.

For investing in Kub Coin, there are many positive points. Bitkub’s trading center supports trading of almost 90 coins. There are also product updates, such as Investment Token, which is expected to provide long-term returns. And importantly, there is Thai-language support that provides guidance, making investing safer.

Overall, Kub Coin is a great example of how people in Thailand can develop blockchain technology on par with international standards. More importantly, it isn’t just a digital toy—there’s real use in businesses and everyday life. If you’re interested in following Thailand’s Crypto market, Kub Coin should be one of the coins worth keeping an eye on.
