AIMPACT News, May 14 (UTC+8): Spark, the upgraded version of the Gemini Agent previously known internally by the codename “Remy,” was previously available only to users subscribed to AI Ultra. The information leaked on the same day also includes a new model named “Spark Robin” (described as “Rich Visual Response”), as well as a new “MCP Tool Testing” category added to the Gemini model selector, suggesting that Spark will connect to a third-party tool ecosystem. At this time, Google is rolling out an always-on Agent, directly targeting Anthropic’s upcoming managed Agent Conway and OpenAI’s Agent platform. The competition among the three has shifted from “whose model is smarter” to “who can do more for users.” (Source: BlockBeats)
