AIMPACT News, May 17 (UTC+8), according to Beating Monitoring, following yesterday’s admission that the current model has data flaws, Elon Musk immediately provided a generational update schedule on X. He announced that the internal version 9 base model with 1.5 trillion parameters has completed training and is expected to be officially released within 3 to 4 weeks, confidently claiming that the new version will deliver a “banger” experience.
To address the data flaws of the previous generation, this model will enter a “supplementary training” phase, specifically to absorb massive amounts of Cursor’s code data. After foundational knowledge infusion, it will be refined through supervised fine-tuning (SFT) and reinforcement learning (RL).
