I've been studying promising cryptocurrency markets for 2024 and found some interesting options worth keeping an eye on. They are not giants like Bitcoin and Ethereum, but rather coins that are still cheap and have real growth potential. The crypto market has grown a lot here, with millions of Brazilians investing, and many people are looking for alternatives beyond BTC.

The thing is: how to identify which cheap crypto will really go up? It's not an exact science, but you can watch projects with solid fundamentals and a development history. Cardano (ADA), for example, was co-founded by a former Ethereum network co-founder and is now trading around $0.26. Stellar Lumens (XLM) is another that has been growing, focused on international transfers, and is at $0.15. Polygon (MATIC) is interesting because it solves speed issues on the Ethereum network, and it's at $0.18 now.

There's also Algorand (ALGO), which is newer but already among the main ones, even being the official blockchain of FIFA. Polkadot (DOT) is a direct competitor to Ethereum and is at $1.28. dYdX (DYDX) is a well-established DeFi protocol. Uniswap (UNI) is a reference in decentralized exchanges, priced at $3.51. And Chiliz (CHZ) is interesting if you like sports, as it works with fan tokens of teams.

But honestly? Promising cryptocurrencies for 2024 and beyond require research. You can't fall for promises of guaranteed returns. The good thing is that you can start with little money, unlike buying a whole Bitcoin which is now at $78.08K. It's worth exploring these alternatives, but always on a trusted exchange and doing your own research. This is not a recommendation, just sharing what I've been following here.
