BitMart Market Daily Report
ME News message, May 14 (UTC+8). According to BitMart’s market observation on May 14, BTC is currently about $79,577, with an intraday high of about $81,255; ETH is about $2,256.38, with an intraday high of about $2,320.22; SOL is about $90.79, with an intraday high of around $95.77. Overall, major assets have retreated from their highs today. BTC has fallen back below $80,000, ETH has returned to around the $2,250 level, and SOL continues to adjust within a high-volatility range. Compared with the previous trading day, market sentiment has cooled somewhat.
Although BTC briefly rose to $81,255 during the session, it then gave back its gains, suggesting that the continuation of pushing higher from high levels remains limited. ETH has followed and weakened, returning in the short term to around its earlier consolidation center. SOL’s price swings are clearly larger than those of BTC and ETH, indicating that trading activity in popular coins is still active, but capital is being more oriented toward trading rather than trend-following. There is no obvious uncontrolled selling pressure on the current board, but turnover at high levels has increased, and short-term funds are clearly becoming more cautious.
BitMart X Insight: The yield on the U.S. 10-year Treasury notes is still hovering near about 4.46%–4.47% today, after briefly touching 4.50% during the previous trading day. The market continues to digest relatively strong U.S. PPI data and energy price pressure, which raises the valuation hurdle for risk assets and suppresses the willingness to chase prices at high levels. Mapped to the crypto market, the pullback in BTC and ETH is closer to a contraction of high-risk appetite, while SOL’s large fluctuations indicate that high-elasticity trading remains active; however, the overall market has entered a phase of waiting for new macro signals.
Investors are advised to continue monitoring changes in support and demand near the $79,000–$80,000 range for BTC, as well as whether ETH and SOL can re-establish a clearer linkage after the pullbacks. This article is for reference only and does not constitute any investment advice. The cryptocurrency market is highly volatile and carries high risk. Please make rational decisions and do a good job of personal risk management. (Source: BitMart)
