Japan's SBI Securities and Rakuten Securities plan to sell cryptocurrency investment trust products

Deep Tide TechFlow News, May 17th, according to The Nikkei, SBI Securities and Rakuten Securities have clearly planned to sell cryptocurrency investment trust products after regulatory restrictions are lifted.

Nikkei surveyed 18 major securities firms, and the results showed that 11 firms indicated they would consider offering related products once the regulatory framework is established, with large firms like Nomura Securities also actively evaluating follow-up.

SBI Securities plans to sell funds developed by its group subsidiary SBI Global Asset Management, including ETFs and investment trusts for highly liquid cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin and Ethereum, with product development and sales completed within the group. Rakuten Securities, on the other hand, plans to jointly develop products with group members like Rakuten Investment Management and enable convenient trading of crypto investment trusts through a smartphone app.
