When you feel that someone is particularly good, remember to ask yourself, where did their bad qualities go? Human nature is complete; no one is only kind. The real question is not whether there is aggression, but where that aggression is directed. The first type: directing the bad towards oneself, resulting in a life of repression and pain. The second type: turning the bad into strength, becoming firm yet gentle. The third type: leaving the bad for the closest people, so outwardly respectable, but losing control at home and blaming loved ones. Truly mature people do not pretend they have no dark side, but dare to admit it and learn to control it.
