Why in China do you see very inefficient, repetitive, and meaningless jobs? For example: overpass security guards, bus queue administrators, meeting cup-serving attendants, sanitation supervisors, public order observers, public opinion guides, and so on, and these are not just for employment. Their true purpose is to consume time, wear down willpower, and maintain order. More importantly, the system will package this very survival as a form of "grace." Making people believe: it is not the jobs that need them, but they need the jobs. Over time, people will begin to appreciate the system that grants them the right to survive, rather than questioning why the system keeps so many people stuck in a low-value cycle for so long. A long-term stable system does not necessarily aim for everyone to create value. It cares more about: ensuring that everyone always has something to do.
