Recently, I was looking for apps to invest with little money because I wanted to start without risking too much capital. It turns out you no longer need to be a millionaire to get into trading, so I decided to do some research.

The first thing I found is that there are several decent options regulated by official institutions. If you're a beginner like me, MiTrade seems to be the most accessible. You can start with just $20 USD, it has a clean interface (without unnecessary clutter), and allows you to trade stocks, cryptocurrencies, gold, all from a single account. It also includes integrated TradingView charts and a demo account with $50,000 virtual dollars to practice for 90 days risk-free.

If you already have experience, AvaTrade might interest you more. Founded in 2006, it offers both retail and professional accounts, compatible with MetaTrader 4 and 5, and has tools like ZuluTrade to automate investments. The minimum deposit is $100 USD.

Then there's Plus500, which is listed on the London Stock Exchange and has over 2,800 different CFDs. It’s quite comprehensive but more geared toward traders with prior experience. XM is also interesting if you want very high leverage (up to 1000x), though that carries more risk. They offer micro accounts starting with a $5 USD deposit.

But if your thing is learning by copying others, eToro is the option. It was a pioneer in copy trading and allows beginners to automatically replicate trades from experienced traders. Minimum deposit of $50 USD.

The truth is, these apps for investing with little money have democratized access to trading quite a bit. It used to seem like something only for people with a lot of money; now anyone can start with small amounts. The important thing is to choose according to your profile: if you're a novice, look for a simple interface and low deposit; if you have experience, prioritize a variety of assets and leverage.

Each platform has different fees, minimum deposits, and unique features. What’s clear is that there’s no excuse not to start if you’re eager to learn. Just remember that all trading involves risks, so before investing real money, practice with demo accounts and educate yourself well. It’s not magic, but it’s more accessible than it seems.
