Recently, I was looking into how to start investing without needing a huge amount of capital, and I was surprised to discover that there are several trading apps that allow it. The truth is, the myth that "investing is only for wealthy people" no longer applies.
I have been exploring the main options, and some really stand out. If you're a beginner and want something simple, MiTrade looks quite accessible: you can start with just $20 and it has a clean interface without much clutter. AvaTrade is more for those who already have experience and want to use MetaTrader 4 or 5 with more leverage. Plus500 is interesting if you're looking for access to futures and a huge variety of assets.
For more aggressive traders, XM offers very high leverage (up to 1000x, though with high risk). And if your thing is following experienced investors, eToro has that copy trading system that’s quite unique.
What caught my attention the most is that all these trading apps have very low minimum deposits and demo accounts to practice without risk. Most don’t charge commissions, only spreads. Of course, each one has its focus: some are better for CFDs, others for real assets.
The truth is, choosing between these trading apps depends a lot on what kind of investor you are. If you're just starting out, probably MiTrade or eToro are the easiest. If you already master the subject and want advanced tools, AvaTrade or XM will give you more flexibility.
The important thing is to practice on the demo account before investing real money. They all offer that, so there’s no excuse not to try first. Has anyone else tried any of these trading apps? I’d like to know what their experience was.
