Man, I’ve been researching apps for investing in the stock market and I realized the market has really exploded. According to B3, 5 million new investors entered in 2025, and younger people are looking for a better app to buy stocks that is easy to use and without crazy fees.
I see there are several options now. Mitrade is interesting because it offers a demo account to practice before putting real money in, has real-time charts, and zero brokerage fees. Rico is also catching the attention of beginners with a more casual language. There’s Toro, which was acquired by Santander and is investing heavily in financial education. XP has grown a lot in recent years and now serves individual investors as well, not just big investors.
Nubank with Nu Invest incorporated Easynvest and is offering over a thousand products. Banco Inter has a very simple app and no brokerage fee (except B3). And Avenue is the option for those who want to invest abroad, in dollars.
But honestly, choosing the best app to buy stocks depends a lot on your profile. If you’re just starting, you need something intuitive with good educational content. If you already have experience and more capital, you might want more advanced tools and access to international markets. The important thing is to check security, actual fees (because it’s not always zero), and whether the app offers what you need.
The market is growing a lot here in Brazil, and brokerages are competing to offer better apps for buying stocks with cutting-edge technology. Some focus on predictive AI, others on robo-advisors, others on local cryptocurrencies. It’s worth spending some time testing before deciding where to put your money. Which ones are you using?
