Hey, I found out something interesting about the best free AI websites in 2026. Like, people still think AI is expensive, but the truth is there are really good tools available for free now.
I started testing ChatGPT in the free version and honestly, I was surprised. It’s using GPT-5 now, there is a limit (about 10 messages every 5 hours), but after that, there’s a mini model that’s super fast. It’s good for everything: writing, generating basic images, programming, data analysis. Google Gemini is also awesome, mainly because it pulls updated data directly from Google, which is really useful for research.
But what really caught my attention was DeepSeek. This one is fast, efficient, and the best part is that it remains almost free. You can use it unlimited on their site, great for math and analysis.
For those working with videos, Lumen5 is a lifesaver. It transforms text into social media-ready videos in minutes. There’s a limit on the free plan (about 5 videos), but you can do quite a lot. SciSpace is really good for students, explaining scientific articles that look like Chinese.
There’s also ChatPDF (talk to PDFs), Descript (edit videos by text), NightCafe for digital art. For realistic images, there’s that ‘This Person Doesn’t Exist’ that generates faces that look real but no one actually exists. Midjourney is no longer free, but the other options cover it well.
The cool thing is that with these free AI tools, you can do almost everything that used to cost a lot. I combine ChatGPT with Gemini for text, NightCafe for images, Lumen5 for videos, and that’s it.
Is anyone else using any of these? Which one is your favorite? I’m thinking about testing DeepSeek more because people speak very highly of its efficiency.
