Bitcoin (BTC) fell below $78,000 last night, dropping -3.2% in 24 hours and wiping out all of last week’s gains that briefly touched $82,000.
THE IMPACT:
· BTC price: ~$78,030
· Total liquidations in 24 hours: $581 MILLION
· 95% are LONG positions that got liquidated
MAIN CAUSES:
· The Great Accumulation: Whales (10-10k BTC) quietly bought 16,622 BTC while retail panicked
· Bhutan Mystery: Druk Holding moved ~$1 Billion BTC (but denied it)
· Macro Mess: Oil prices broke $105 per barrel, and inflation is widening
MY ANALYSIS:
· Strong support at $73k-$75k. If $75k breaks, we could see $65k.
· Those trading futures without stop loss are crying in the bathroom.
