Learn from π’s white paper with proper understanding and improve your self-awareness!
Under π’s mining model and release mechanism, it would take at least over 99 years up to 600 years to possibly be mined out. In your lifetime, you’ll never see π fully mined.
Based on the release mechanism, the market’s peak circulating supply is around 6 to 9 years, roughly about 15 billion coins.
At present, the actual circulating supply is less than 2.5 billion (of which about 700–800 million are mapped but haven’t moved since—possibly because the account was abandoned or the wallet’s seed phrase was lost). The actual circulating supply is under 1.5 billion.
Judging by the release mechanism, if you have an account balance of 10,000 coins, you will never have the opportunity to use them up in your lifetime. You need to infinitely repeat staking and releasing in order to keep mining the coins in the pool and the computing-power coins in your own account.
After complete mapping, the average number of coins (that can circulate) available per account is very small!
