So NFT platforms are having a moment again. The market just pumped $179 million in trading volume over the past week, highest since April 2024. Punks are absolutely going crazy, up like 665% which is insane. Been scrolling through different NFT trading platforms to see where everyone's actually trading.
OpenSea is still the biggest player, pulling in like $4.92M in 24h volume and holding over a quarter of the market. It's on Ethereum but works with Polygon, Solana, Arbitrum and a bunch of other chains. The 2.5% fee on secondary sales is pretty standard at this point.
Magic Eden has been killing it though, especially after they added Bitcoin Ordinals support last year. They're at $4.76M volume now, basically neck and neck with OpenSea. The multi-chain approach (Solana, Polygon, Ethereum, Bitcoin) is actually useful if you're spread across different networks.
Blur is interesting if you're more of a serious trader - they've got these advanced tools and transparent bidding history so you can actually see what people paid for stuff. Sitting at $4M volume in 24h. Tensor on Solana is another solid one if you want deep liquidity and fast transactions, especially for bulk operations.
Rarible lets you mint without coding skills which is cool for artists, and they've got governance tokens so holders have a say. Mintable charges zero fees for minting which is pretty generous. SuperRare is the premium curated one if you want quality over quantity.
Even the big exchanges are getting in on it now. The NFT platforms landscape is getting pretty competitive but that's probably good for users. What are you guys actually using to trade right now?
