ME News Report, May 14 (UTC+8), in April 2026, fintech and payments serial entrepreneur Chen Yu stated at the Money 20/20 conference in Bangkok that Web3 development has exceeded ten years, but lacks real-world applications. He pointed out that the biggest challenge for Web3 is how to connect the real economy and traditional industries. Stablecoins were originally created to address transfer needs between exchanges, and are now applied in traditional cross-border payments. He believes that in the future, high-frequency small transactions between intelligent agents will rely on Web3 and stablecoins, focusing on solving payment issues. (Source: MLion)
