I found these free Bitcoin mining tools that are worth testing, I’ll share with you what I found out there.
I started with Awesome Miner, which is quite old, since 2014. The software runs smoothly on Windows and Linux, just download and start. It works for those who want to do small-scale mining too.
Then I tested BetterHash, which has that motto of "put your PC to work." It’s interesting because it automatically selects which coin is most profitable to mine at the moment — BTC, ETC, ETH, all there. Less manual work, more intuitive indeed.
StormGain became my favorite for free Bitcoin mining because it even runs on your phone. I turn it on now and then and let it mine without using much energy. It also has an interface in Portuguese, which makes it much easier.
CryptoTab is another one worth it — it’s a browser you use normally and you’re mining while browsing. It has a referral system for friends that multiplies your earnings.
Kryptex promises up to R$520 per month on a regular PC, according to them. It only works on Windows. It’s automatic.
ECOS is more professional, offering cloud mining and ASIC, but it’s not completely free. It has a free trial to test, but the costs can get high.
PEGAPool and MinerGate are quite similar — two apps you download, run, and leave mining. MinerGate works on various systems and automatically chooses the most advantageous coin.
There’s also EarnCrypto, which isn’t exactly a free Bitcoin mining service in the traditional sense, but you earn crypto by completing simple tasks — watching ads, answering surveys, things like that. It yields a few satoshis.
But hey, be careful, okay? The internet is full of scams promising free Bitcoin. Always check the source of the tool, see if it has a history, if it’s secure. Don’t click on anything that promises to make you rich out of nowhere. Data protection is essential.
