ARK Researcher: Tokenized Stocks Face Challenges
ME News Report, May 14 (UTC+8), ARK researcher Lorenzo Valente pointed out that two-layer and three-layer SPV wrapping structures could pose problems for tokenized stocks in the crypto RWA (Real World Asset) space. He mentioned that Bullish’s acquisition of Equiniti and Securitize’s push to bring compliant stock rights on-chain are key to enabling tokenized stocks to enter the institutional market. In the future market, there may be a large number of packaged products such as equity SPVs and debt notes. If the underlying rights and transfer restrictions are unclear, tokenized stocks could become speculative assets. (Source: MLion)
