This decision comes as authorities intensify their crackdown on the massive online fraud networks that are proliferating in the region.
For several years, thousands of people have been exploited in scam centers specializing in fake crypto investments, phishing, or romantic scams (pig butchering).
Some complexes are even described as real “scam factories” controlled by organized criminal groups.
In response to the explosion of the phenomenon, the country has chosen to strike very hard.
