Also, I have to be honest – the Pi KYC process was a real chaos for me at first. Everywhere you read that people wait months for confirmation or get rejected multiple times. But then I realized that it actually goes much faster if you handle it properly.

The thing is: The entire Pi KYC really only takes 5-10 minutes if you know what you're doing. I went through it and was surprised at how straightforward it is. You only need a valid ID (passport is best), you must be at least 18 years old, and have been mining for at least 30 days. End of story.

The steps are actually simple – download the app, go to the mainnet section, check off the checklist, then go to the KYC tab. Take a photo of your ID, enter your data, do a liveness check, and you're done. Important: Make sure your face is well-lit in the selfie, otherwise it will be rejected.

What surprised me – the approval came to me relatively quickly. But I also read that for some it takes weeks or months. It probably depends on how many reviewers are available in your country. They then verify your data with 2-3 other people to ensure everything is legitimate.

If your KYC has been pending forever, some influencers supposedly have tips, but I would be cautious about that. It costs 1 Pi coin for the whole process, which goes to the reviewers. If you do it right, it should work out. Many people in Nigeria are doing this right now, so you're not alone.
