You will find that a person's true direction in the second half of life is often not decided in their twenties, but gradually shaped during the ten years from 30 to 40.

At this stage, you are no longer young enough to try everything without consequences, but you haven't yet aged to the point of losing all choice, so every decision you make will begin to have long-term effects.
If you choose the wrong path, the more effort you put in, the more off course you become;
if your body is overextended, you'll be paying off the debt for the next few decades;
if you don't manage relationships well, you'll become increasingly lonely;
if you lack savings, your life will lack the confidence to withstand risks;
long-term complaining and blaming will gradually solidify into character, and ultimately, character will become destiny.
Meanwhile, your child's growth window is quietly closing; your absence today may never be made up for later.
Therefore, the most important thing from 30 to 40 is not to desperately prove yourself, but to gradually establish a sustainable life: stabilize your health, filter relationships, accumulate wealth, correct your mindset, spend time with family, and also keep a little passion that truly belongs to you.
Because this decade is essentially a second adulthood in life; how you live now is basically pre-writing your life story after age 50.
