Changes to the Pepecoin Project
In August 2023, concerns arose within the Pepecoin community when a large number of tokens were unexpectedly transferred from the project wallet to a centralized exchange. This event caused the coin's price to drop and raised doubts about its future. Later, it was revealed that dissatisfied developers who had left the project were responsible for the transfer, claiming they were "updating" the wallet.
