Many people are always disappointed in others, not because others are too bad, but because they have never truly accepted themselves. They dare not admit their selfishness, vanity, fragility, so they desperately try to become a "perfect person," and then use this illusion to expect others. But human nature is inherently imperfect. When you start to accept your true self, including those unworthy sides, you will have a more genuine judgment of others and the world. Accepting yourself is not giving up on growth. It is no longer avoiding reality while pretending to be noble.
