Just scrolled through the latest market cap rankings and it's wild how the numbers stack up. Gold still dominates everything at nearly 18 trillion, which honestly puts everything else into perspective. But what caught my attention is where crypto fits into the top assets by market cap globally.

Bitcoin's sitting at around 1.6 trillion now, which is massive compared to most traditional assets. Ethereum's also in the mix at 277 billion, though it's dropped from where it was. When you look at top assets by market cap, you've got Apple at 3.8 trillion, Nvidia at 3.3 trillion, Microsoft at 3.2 trillion - the tech giants are basically printing money.

What's interesting is comparing these numbers across different asset classes. You see Saudi Aramco, silver, all the traditional wealth vehicles. Then you realize Bitcoin's market cap puts it ahead of most Fortune 500 companies individually. The whole landscape of top assets by market cap is changing pretty fast. Makes you think about where things are headed, especially with crypto continuing to prove it's not just a niche thing anymore.
